Book, what to do with you?

For my graduation project I illustrated a magazine called “Book, what to do with you?’’. With this magazine I want to raise awareness for the declining popularity of reading books among our youth. Reading can have a big influence on how you perceive the world around you, and how you engage in society. And it’s also very important for your vocabulary and ability to concentrate. These are just a couple of reasons why I think we should motivate our youth to spend less time on their phones, and more time with their nose in a book.

With my illustrations I wanted to brighten up the somewhat serious text, and make the entire reading experience a bit more light and humorous. In the illustrations I focused on the struggle that our youth has when it comes down to reading a physical book.
