The modern Dr. Frankenstein working with significantly less expensive materials.

In the film Creatures in my Closet (2020), I portray my sculptures as, what I call, ghosts. They represent remnants, or fragments, of people who are not in my life anymore, and moments that have long since passed. The ghosts in this film are based on my memories of the people I met and cared for during the time I worked in a retirement home. They are physical representations of the memories I have of people who were already forgotten by society or by their family and who sometimes forgot themselves, thus becoming ghosts.

In this film I explore the space between being and not being by creating an interplay between person and sculpture, who live in the same place but who do not acknowledge each other.
