Ik, ezel (me, donkey)

Ik, ezel (me, donkey) is a tragicomedy mixed media film. The film portrays several characters who do not fit within the socially accepted norm. All of the characters which have to deal with the difficulties of life but don’t have a clue how to do so. In the film we follow a clumsy boy named Keesje. Keesje has a depressing life and fails in everything he does. He decides to look for love in an attempt to give his sad life a bit more meaning.

The film was deliberately made with a small crew and minimal equipment using a self-written manifesto (dogma).
