ROUND(ABOUT)

Jesse is a situation maker. By responding to places of interest he tries to grasp the fleeting nature of situations. For his graduation work he investigated the area around an artwork in public space placed next to a roundabout. By performing interventions close to this artwork he tries to break through conventional ways of looking and thinking. He recreates these fleeting moments of happening through performance where he invites his audience to participate and become involved. With his actions he calls for detailed attention to slow down time and make you really look.
