Any object can be a starting point or an outcome. Whether it is a rose arch or a wine rack. I want to know what objects really are and how I, as well as others, relate to them. Objects contain information related to functionality, appearance, and potential. I extract these aspects and call them the “data” of an object. I then use these “data” to create work. The work process is often enriched by the input of others, multiple perspectives are taken into account. The outcome manifests itself in many forms. Sometimes as an assembled sculpture that expresses the “data”, but it could also be a graphic print or a photograph. I prefer to show my work in combinations and series.
