Vermillion Dawn

‘Vermillion Dawn’ is the concept for a short film about a young woman called Mae. She lives all alone in the middle of a quiet desert, only accompanied by her loyal horse, buffalos and a few chickens walking around here and there. Every day is the same, until one day the buffalo calf escapes and gets lost in the wilderness. When Mae goes out to find him, she also finds a router that allows her to connect to the universal web (The NET).

Mae gets introduced to the internet and even meets another person for the very first time. They start to become friends, but not everything is what it seems. Relationships aren’t always easy, especially when the online world and reality come together in a final confrontation. Mae will finally discover the greatness of true friendship, but will she also be able to stand up for herself?
