My artistic practice usually starts with a technical fascination. I mainly focus on video with an experimental approach. In my work, I explore commonly relatable subjects like memories and time. I use my personal experience to contribute to this exploration. This isn’t directly visible in the work, but it should be something the viewer can have their own associations with as well as stimulate their imagination.

With my current work, I attempt to be both experimental and work towards a completed result. The work is influenced by the slow cinema movement, which emphasizes on minimalistic, longer takes. The longer takes allow the viewer to observe the scene in a more real-time manner. I research the role of cinema by merging it into an exhibition space and displaying the film in the form of an installation rather than a conventional screening.
