Cards with a story about introversion and extroversion told by animals. My love of postcards and printmaking resulted in my graduate project Snail Patience, a series of postcards with an ongoing story. The project shows letter exchanges from both introverted and extroverted animals. With this project, I also show the power of a postcard. It is personal and it takes time to be received. What both Snail and I have in common is thinking about the words being written. Like Snail, I am an introvert.
In addition to the story cards, each animal featured in the story has its own card. Is a squirrel something for you? Do you recognize yourself in a beetle or are you a little bit of everything?
