With my picture book I want to show children the beauty of introversion in a world where extraversion seems to be the goal.

Kyra is not afraid to get her hands dirty during her creative process.
She starts her projects with an open concept and from there she experiments widely with different materials. In this process, she embraces the imperfections and surprises that arise. She often works with themes such as loneliness, isolation and relationships between people. In doing so, she provides a glimpse into the minds of her characters.

During her graduation project she fulfilled her dream of making a wordless picture book.
With her book she wants to show the beauty of introversion in a world where extraversion seems to be the goal. It tells the story of a girl who wants to be alone for a moment so she can enjoy participating in the group later.
This story is told with spherical spreads constructed from various analogue techniques such as linocuts.
