De Groene Koers

In my work I talk about scientific climate problems and focus especially on the possible solutions. On the left side of the triptych you see the hell story with several demons visualizing the human race. In the middle you see “the now”. The smallest hatch visualizes the short time we have in order to solve the problems we have created. As an artist I ask the question, where are we now and what can be done to change this? We only have a little time to reduce our wounds that we have created as a race. In the right panel you see the future. The world that I wish for everyone to experience and that displays the right scientific solutions. Indeed, the concept behind the work suggests that dystopia and utopia are both real outcomes, and the small piece of the present forms the crucial boundary on which the choice rests on how to move forward. In addition to the triptych, there is an infographic to provide more information about the green inventions/interventions.
