In the story of ‘East of Here’ we follow Pawel (34) who is going through a divorce with Wiktoria (31). Since then he lives remotely in his caravan.
He is stuck in the chaos but after an encounter with an animal in his garden he decides to drive off in the middle of the night. During his drive he meets Yari (24), a hitchhiker, he takes her to Germany and during the ride he discovers what he left behind him.
