Nichon her work is created by events that many people might be ashamed of. The poetry Nichon writes tries to remove certain stigmas. The space that is created is located in the recognition with the text and makes way for convenience instead of inconvenience. By using satire and absurdism in her poetry, the everyday is greatly magnified and there is room for multiple landmarks and she hopes that, if there are no landmarks, light is shed on certain systematically learned behaviour patterns.
In addition to writing, she also uses video, installation and performance in which she responds to the content of the texts. In this way she tries to make the poetry she writes visual through different media and also try to think about different ways of propagating the work. It is very important for her that the work she makes holds a certain cleverness, rawness and honesty. But the most important part is when people laugh, if nobody laughs, she failed miserably and will never write another word ever again.
