Hiding and seeking
Dear you,
I will be present, in body or in traces.
You will meet my body in theatrical spaces, my playgrounds. There I investigate the relation between desire, impulse, choice, you, me and the space we are in. My playground will change over time, in a rehearsal like way, and will show the consequences of my actions. Leaving behind absurdist spaces that are difficult to grasp.
When I am not there, I see my work as a sculpture. My presence still there, hanging in the air, waiting until you will breathe it in. I will leave my scarf on your coat stand, just so I can see you again.
The space will mainly be filled with speech, text, ceramic objects and my presence. I love tiny objects, because they demand you to come close, and therefore create a choreography for you.
I like to provoke, challenge and flirt with you.
Lots of love,
Roos Keetels
