INTRO

INTRO is an ode to the introvert. Our society is biased towards extroverts. Those who are quiet and reserved are seen as shy, boring and sometimes even rude. On the contrary, I think there is a lot of strength in introverts. INTRO’s presentation is inspired by the inner workings of an introvert’s brain. In an introvert’s brain, more blood flows via a longer, more complex route than in an extrovert’s brain. The blood flows mainly along the parts of the brain that deal with inner experience and thinking. By using photographic sculptures and playing with the placement of the work, I create a longer, more complex route. The images represent a search for peace. The focus here is the inner experience and contemplation.
