My grandma and I

My Grandma and I is a illustrated story focusing on the relationship between a granddaughter and her grandmother. In 2020 and 2021 I created illustrations for the elderly during the Corona crisis. I then saw firsthand how happy this could make the viewer and how many elderly people are actually very lonely. With my book I would like to encourage grandchildren to visit their grandparents more often and, despite the fact that grandpa and grandma may be less able then in the past, to look for things they can still do together. This means that the relationship remains a good one and loneliness amongst the elderly population can be reduced.
