Narcisc0

A young woman is trying to survive on a planet overrun by strange monsters when she discovers that the deaths of these monsters cause nature to grow and return to the planet. She sets out to change her home into a better, more beautiful place.

This project is an animated music video for the song Narcisc0 by Rina Mushonga. The song was meant to be a protest against the patriarchy and a call for new people to step into the light and take control. I tried to convey this message without being too literal, since the song itself also calls for you to really listen before you can take in the message. But I also took the chance to combine it with animations that can be seen as more abstract. I very much enjoy creating animations that are just… movement.
