Reflection
With my interactive installation ‘Weerspiegeling / Reflection’, I want to hold a mirror up to the viewer. In a literal sense, because the audience will be able to see themselves in the projected rainpuddle but also figuratively, because I will be confronting them with their (mostly) negative associations with rain. I want them to experience rain in a fun way, like children do in real life: jumping in puddles. By doing so in my installation, the projected puddle will change in size and bright colors, eachtime someone stomps or jumps or in it.
