Solace

Solace is a 2D animation about the desire to disappear into nature, when melancholy leaves you feeling alienated from modern society. The story is a bit obscure; it fits in the visual poetry genre. It is meant to engage the viewer on an emotional level. I animated it frame-by-frame, because every time you draw something, you put a piece of your soul into that drawing. The process of animating in this manner can’t be rushed, and it will give the film a certain sincerity, a heart.
