Imagine its morning, you’ve just made yourself a fresh cup of Tea and are walking to your favorite spot, but when you arrive there is already someone there. They move aside to make space for you but seem to be in distress. What would you do?

Spilling the Tea is a Frame by Frame animated shortfilm that touches on struggles with Communication and Intimacy related to cultural differences and Queerness. All packed neatly in two strangers exchanging tea.

Ian Pauw produced the music. All else was directed and made by Felix Reijmers (Including the voice acting).
