I obsessively record what one day may disappear, because often things only gain value when taken from me.

Fearing the transient, I capture places that seem to lose their authenticity. My memories seem to be threatened at all times by fences and demolition machines. To protect these places I create frames, where the image is no longer bound to place. A window for the other to see the world I see. A glimpse into my territory, one not bound to the physical. Rather, it is a territory made by the space between reality and fiction, where I can put out my own fences.

A constant search for havens, forgotten pockets of silence in an urban environment. In compositions of photos I show fragments of this search. A hunt by dusk where I use flash precisely where the shadows have their home.
