‘Through Petro’s Eyes – A cat’s story about Ukraine’ is an animated short about how Petro the cat’s life is suddenly changed by the war and how it affects him and his surroundings. By showing the events happening from the perspective of an animal, Tess Kievit wants to show empathy and compassion for the animals and humans in Ukraine and show the more unknown consequences of war.
