We could watch the world go by through my wooden windowpane all day, or act like a herd of sheep resting in the grass.

Rest, self care and well-being are often undervalued and easily overshadowed by prioritizing productivity and efficiency. My work is a manifesto for taking your time. The experience of time passing by is fascinating to me. In ceramics I capture time like air inside of whipped cream. I slow down time and make sculptures shaped like soft swirls unable to decay, to stay sweet and still forever. I think of different ways of approaching resistance against societal norms without guilt. How to explore gentle ways of protesting. To play pretend while using performative gestures. By waiting until the birthday candles have been completely burned down. It keeps me wondering in what ways a fulfilling and meaningful life can exist. We could watch the world go by through my wooden windowpane all day, or act like a herd of sheep resting in the grass.
