When talking about my motivation for making, it always comes back to a core objective, honoring my craft: tattooing. I try to contribute to a tradition by recollecting what has been done in the past, what is happening at the moment and whatever I can add from my personal experience.

While exploring the medium, there’s one thing that keeps coming up, people with no former tattooing experience or knowledge making assumptions about the craft. This has caused people to make mistakes in documentation as well as regulation. With this in mind, I’d like to invite everyone for a conversation about the medium as a whole.

This very concept has led me to produce a canvas which will be able to exist with one purpose, being tattooed. A canvas which is able to out outlive the average human and with that will leave traces of it’s existence beyond our lifespan.
