Wat maakt het uit

In a modern world full of opportunities and an overload of content we often get struck by a sense of pressure. At work, at school, while dating, at the grocery store or even at home, during the scrolling on our phones, there is almost no way of escaping the feeling of being compared or rated by others, or simply by yourself. I created a publication with a collection of these types of situations displayed in a humerous and casual manner, but simultaneously with a retrospective take on things and an almost slightly therapeutic tone. All of the works are analoguely made using the mediums of colored pencil and ballpoint pen and are drawn in a quirky style. You might even catch glimpses of the author herself within the illustrations.
