‘Geritsel’ is a picture book about creepy crawlies (kriebelbeestjes). The purpose of this book is to help eliminate the fear of creepy crawlies by introducing children to these creatures and providing them with interesting facts and information. Children get to discover more about the important roles that creepy crawlies have in nature. In the illustrations, these roles are replaced by human tasks, allowing children to link them to recognizable tasks in their own lives.
