Hoor Je Mij?!

The animated short film “Hoor Je Mij?!” tells the story of a 19-year-old girl who moves to a different city to start a new life. She explores the city with her friend and enjoys her time partying. After a few months, she has a bad sexual encounter that changes her whole life. Everything that once felt joyful and secure now feels frightening and sad. In that moment, she needs to hear: “Do you hear me? Things will not always remain this way!”

After a while, the girl realizes that her life does go on. She understands that she needs to talk about her experience and knows that it will help her. The animation shows how time passes and how she starts to feel a little bit better by sharing her experience with others she can trust.
