"Using the medium of animation, I aim to narrate the stories of that era, ensuring they are not forgotten."

Nauwe Adem’ (Shortness of Breath) is a 2D animation based on a true story, set in the Vught concentration camp during World War II. The story tells of the courage and solidarity of dozens of women who unite to support a fellow prisoner named Non. Non is imprisoned because she, along with other women, drove a traitor out of their barracks. In a brave attempt to free Non, the women write down their numbers, hoping to secure her release. Unbeknownst to them, this act of solidarity brings severe consequences. The list of numbers ends up with the camp commander, and he decides to confine the women to one small cell.
