By exploring the intricate realities of Alzheimer's, my film dives into the depths of human experiences to foster a sense of empathy and connection.

This short psychological drama film immerses you in the world of 75-year-old Hidde, who has dementia. Unable to find his way home, he embarks on a search for his father, blurring the boundaries between past and present as he revisits places and memories tied to childhood trauma.

By portraying and highlighting the perspective of someone with Alzheimer’s disease, I aim to evoke empathy and understanding for those who suffer from the confusion and disorientation it brings. I strive not only to entertain the viewer but also to challenge them to reflect on how we, as a society, address these complex human experiences. Through my work, I seek to provide insights that help us better understand the world and the people around us.
