(Re)connection II
Creating art is my way of exploring the world. I constantly question how things are made and why. Who invented them? Where do they originate from? What are their uses, and what can I do with them? Being inspired by a memory, an image, an attitude, or a story, and subsequently generating an idea, teaches me about myself and thus about humanity. My life experiences, influences, and everyday observations merge into a unique visual language, shaped by the materials and techniques my environment provides.
By creating art, discovering new techniques, and using different materials, I learn about the history of the things I interact with.
