“Wesen” is a graphic novel that tells a story about the similarities between humans and animals. It depicts the everyday pain that animals endure because of humankind.

The story follows Noah, who experiences an encounter with two deer. This develops into a connection between human and animal. Their shared bond will, however, face a certain evil…

“Wesen” allows me to use my platform as a creator to give a voice to the animals of our world. Through the use of colour and tense storytelling, it sets an atmosphere that allows for emotions, interpretations, and questions.
